Most of the problems we see could have been avoided with proper seasonal care. New York winters are rough — skis that weren't prepped correctly come in every spring with corroded connectors, dead batteries, and cooling systems full of water that froze. Fogging the engine, flushing the cooling system, pulling and storing the battery — it has to be done right. We handle full winterization packages in the fall and spring recommission packages when you're ready to ride. The jet pump takes more abuse than most people realize. Sand, rocks, and debris get in constantly, and even a small chip on the impeller kills your performance fast. We've seen skis lose 10 mph or more just because the impeller was worn down and nobody noticed.
